The decision of Divisional Forest Officer, Ramnagar Forest Division, Ramnagar would be final in this regard.- It is the responsibility of the visitor to follow all the relevant rules and regulations. Any infringement of the rules and regulations would invite punishment.
It is strictly prohibited to enter into the Barati Rau Falls in rainy seasons. Jumping over the falls is strictly prohibited.- Bathing under the fall is strictly prohibited.
- Cooking, throwing of bottles & plastic material is prohibited in the Barati Rau Fall area.
- Drinking or carrying liquor is strictly prohibited. Checking of vehicle for arms, liquor can be done while issuing the permit or at the entry gates.
- Use of Polythene-bags is strictly prohibited. Visitors are required to carry a non-polythene litter bag with them and use it to bring back all their litter, whether biodegradable or non- biodegradable (tin-cans, plastic, glass bottles, metal foils etc.) outside the area.
- Smoking in public places and lightning of any kind of fire is prohibited.
- Playing of radio and other sound producing devices is prohibited.
- Entry into the restricted zone is prohibited.
